Coloring books are full of other people’s cats. Your child would rather color in yours.
Pick a photo, get a page
Upload a picture from your phone, choose Simple or Detailed, and a minute later you have a clean black and white page ready to print. Simple gives big open shapes for small hands and chunky crayons. Detailed keeps more of the texture, which suits older children and fine pens.
Photos with one clear subject work best. The dog on the rug, the birthday cake, a face looking at the camera. Busy group shots and dark rooms give the line art too little to hold on to.
What happens to the photo
This is the part most people want to ask about, so here it is plainly:
- The photo goes to a private folder, not the public one. Nothing you upload is reachable by a link.
- It is checked automatically before anything is drawn, and the check fails closed, which means if we cannot be sure the picture is fine, we do not process it.
- Once the coloring page is made, the original photo is deleted. We keep the line art, not your family album.
- Nothing you upload is ever shown to another family unless you choose to share the finished page in the Parents Hub, which a person reviews first.
What you get each month
Premium+ includes 5 coloring pages from your photos a month, up to 2 a day. The 28 hand-drawn Oodleloo sheets stay where they are, free to print as often as you like.
Finished pages land in My Creations with everything else your child has made, ready to print again, share with a grandparent, or pin to the fridge where it belongs.
