Terms of use
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Welcome to Oodleloo. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Oodleloo (“Oodleloo,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of oodleloo.com, our videos and content, our shop, and Oodleloo Premium (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Who can use Oodleloo
Oodleloo content is made for children, but accounts, purchases, and subscriptions are for adults. You must be at least 18 years old and a parent or guardian to create an account, buy a product, or subscribe. Children should use the Service together with a grown-up. You are responsible for supervising any child who uses your account.
Your account
Please give accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@oodleloo.com if you believe your account has been used without permission.
Acceptable use
Please use the Service kindly and lawfully. Do not copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute our content, attempt to access areas you are not authorized to use, interfere with the Service, upload harmful or unlawful material, or infringe anyone’s rights.
Our content and intellectual property
The Oodleloo characters, videos, music, artwork, text, and the Oodleloo name and logo are owned by us or used under license, and are protected by intellectual property laws. Our physical toys are produced under a commercial license from MatMire Makes. We grant you a personal, non-commercial, revocable license to enjoy the content for your family. Copying, reselling, public performance, or creating derivative products is not permitted without our written permission.
Content you provide
You may add a display name, an “about” note, and a profile photo. You keep ownership of what you submit, and you grant us a limited license to store and display it as part of the Service. Please only submit content you have the right to use, and keep it family-friendly. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
What your family makes here
The Family Studio lets you make things from your own material: coloring pages from your photographs, songs with your child’s name in them, stories, drawings and, in the Premium+ voice beta, narration in a voice you recorded. Those creations are yours.
We do not show them to other families, publish them, sell them, or hand them to anyone outside the companies listed below who help produce them. They are visible to you in your account, and to our staff only when we are answering a support request you have raised or investigating a safety report.
We would sometimes like to show examples of what families make, so people can see what Oodleloo does. We will only do that if you switch it on yourself, on your profile page, where it is off unless you choose it. Even with it on, we only ever use the finished creation, never your original photograph, never your family’s name or your child’s name, and never a recorded or cloned voice. You can switch it off at any time, and we will stop using it in anything new.
What you may do with what you make
Everything in your own life, freely. Print it, frame it, colour it in, stick it on the fridge, read it at bedtime, play the song in the car, put it in a scrapbook, give it to a grandparent, take it to school. Make as many copies as you like. You never need to ask us, and you never owe us anything for it.
Not for sale, and not for publishing. You may not sell a coloring page, song, story or narration made here, and you may not publish one where it earns money or an audience: that includes selling prints or files, putting them in a product you sell, running them as advertising, and uploading them to a monetised channel.
Songs may not go to streaming services. Music made here cannot be uploaded to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, SoundCloud, TikTok's music library, or any other streaming or distribution platform, and it cannot be registered with a performing-rights or royalty body. This is not us being protective. The music tools we use license their output to us for use inside a product like this one, and distribution to streaming platforms is excluded from that licence at every tier, so it is not a right we hold and therefore not one we can pass to you. If you want music you can distribute, it has to be made somewhere that sells you that right.
The friends belong to us. Oodle, Loo and the rest of the characters, and the artwork and names that go with them, are ours and our licensor’s. A coloring page or story featuring them is yours to enjoy at home under the first paragraph above, and is never yours to sell, however it was made.
Your photographs stay yours. A photo you upload is yours, the drawing made from it is yours, and nothing here gives us any claim over either. See the privacy policy for how long we keep them and who processes them.
If you want to use something you made here in a way this section does not allow, write to us. We would rather talk about it than have you guess, and some of it we can arrange.
The Parents Hub
The Parents Hub is an area for grown-ups, behind your parent PIN, where families can choose to show each other something they made. Nothing of yours appears there unless you pick it and send it, one creation at a time. It is not automatic, and nothing you make is ever shared because of a setting you forgot about.
Every post is read by a person before anyone else can see it, and we will decline anything that identifies a child. Please help us: share the drawing, not the child, and keep names, faces, schools, addresses and contact details out of your caption. You can take your own post down at any time, and other families can report anything that worries them.
Posts are credited to the grown-up's display name on the account, never to a child. Sharing in the hub is separate from the marketing permission on your profile; neither one turns the other on.
How creations are made, and who processes them
Making a song, a story, a coloring page or a narration means sending the material you gave us to a specialist company that does that work for us. Today those are OpenAI (checking uploaded photos for unsuitable content, drafting text, and drawing coloring pages), ElevenLabs (songs and voice narration), and Groq and Anthropic (standby text drafting if the first service is unavailable). They act as our processors: they handle the material to produce your result and for no other purpose.
A photograph you upload for a coloring page is deleted from our servers as soon as the page is made. We do not permit these companies to use your material to train their models. Their own terms and privacy policies also apply to that processing, and we may change or add providers as the technology moves; the current list will always be here.
These tools are automated and occasionally get things wrong. Please look at anything they produce before giving it to your child.
Shop purchases
Prices are shown in US dollars and may change. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, and your order is an offer we may accept or decline. Our 3D-printed items are made to order, so please allow time for production and shipping. Toys carry age recommendations and may contain small parts, always follow the labeling and supervise young children. If an item arrives damaged or faulty, contact us within 14 days and we will repair, replace, or refund it.
Oodleloo Premium subscriptions
Oodleloo Premium is a paid subscription that unlocks additional content. New Oodleloo Premium subscriptions start with a 3-day free trial, and you will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends. Premium+ has no free trial, because it includes creation tools that cost us money each time they are used; it bills from the day you join. After the trial, your plan renews automatically (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account, and your access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law or stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable and partial periods are not prorated. We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice.
Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties such as Stripe (payments), Amazon Web Services (hosting and email), analytics providers, and YouTube (video hosting), as well as the content-generation providers named above. Your use of those features may also be subject to their terms.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” While we work hard to keep everything delightful and reliable, we do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and we disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oodleloo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are violated or to protect the Service and its users.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
