More Big Feelings with Rory
Rory meets more big feelings, excited, shy, proud, jealous and loved, and shows kids that every feeling is okay to name.
Boo plays and learns right along with you, a fun, hands-on adventure for little ones.
Hi friends, it's Boo! I'm an opossum, and I love hanging upside down. Today I'll share a secret: when something looks hard, try looking at it a new way.
From up here, everything flips! The moon hangs below me, and the trees look like curtains. Can you tip your head and look at your room upside down?
Tonight I found a puzzle. Hmm. It looked too hard for me at first. The pieces did not fit, and I felt a little bit stuck.
When something is tricky, I sometimes want to hide. That's okay. I take one brave breath, and I peek back out. Can you be brave with me?
Then I tilt my head and look a new way. Oh! This piece has a straight edge. It goes on the side. Now I understand!
If it's tricky, I try, and try again. One piece, then another piece. Trying again is how we get better. Say it with me: try again!
I did it! The puzzle is a picture of my moonlit forest. Looking a new way and trying again helped me finish it.
Next time something feels hard, remember my three steps. Take a brave breath. Look a new way. Then try again.
A new point of view helps. Today, look at something at home from a new side. Nighty-night, friends!
