Rory meets more big feelings, excited, shy, proud, jealous and loved, and shows kids that every feeling is okay to name.
Hi friends, it's Rory! Today we're learning five more big feelings, and you can show each one with your face and your body. Are you ready to feel them with me?
When something fun is about to happen, I bounce and my eyes go sparkly. That's excited! Show me your excited bounce. What makes you excited, like birthdays or the park?
When I meet someone new, I peek out from the tall grass. That's shy. Shy is okay, you can take your time. Can you peek out from behind your hands, like me?
I built my tallest tower ever, and I got a medal! I stand up straight, chest out. That's proud. Stand tall like me, and tell me something you're proud of.
My frog friend has a new drum, and I wish it was mine. Arms crossed, frowny face, that's jealous. It's okay to feel. Cross your arms, breathe, and let them drop.
Then my friend gives me a big warm hug. That's loved, cozy from my ears to my tail. Who gives you the best hugs? Go give them a squeeze if they're nearby!
Excited, shy, proud, jealous, and loved. Every feeling is allowed, and saying its name makes it easier to hold. Which one are you feeling right now? Say its name.
Bye for now, brave friend! At dinner tonight, tell someone one feeling you had today. Deep breath, then roar! Let me hear your gentlest roar. See you next time!
The whole script, in the order it is spoken.
