Shapes Around Us with Finn

Hi friends, it's Finn! Shapes don't only live in books. Today we'll hunt for shapes hiding all around my reef. Are your shape-spotting eyes switched on? Let's swim!

First clue, a round porthole window on a sunken ship. It's round all the way around, so it's a circle! Make a circle with your fingers and peek through it.

Next, an old treasure chest with four sides, all the same length. That's a square. Trace a square in the air with me, one, two, three, four sides.

Up on the sunken boat, there's a sail with pointy corners. How many corners can you count on the sail? One, two, three. A triangle! Make a triangle with your hands.

And here's a little door in the reef, tall with two long sides and two short sides. That's a rectangle. Is the door to your room a rectangle too? Go check!

Once you start looking, shapes pop up everywhere, in the coral, in the bubbles, even in the fish swimming by. Look around your room. What shape can you spot?

Circle, square, triangle, rectangle. You found every one hiding in the reef! You're a real shape hunter now. Give me a big fin wave, just like this!
