Wide and Narrow with Loo

Hi friends, it's Loo! Today we'll learn wide and narrow by exploring two paths in my forest. One path is big and open, and one is thin. Can you spot them both?

This river is wide, it takes a big boat to cross it. The little stream is narrow, one hop and you're over. Can you do one big hop, like you're jumping across?

Two paths side by side. The wide one has room for lots of friends to walk together. The narrow trail fits just one. Which path would you take with your whole family?

I cross the narrow log with careful tiny steps, arms out for balance. The wide bridge is easy, with lots of room. Stand up and walk a pretend narrow log with me.

Watch me stretch my arms out wide, then squeeze them in narrow. Your turn! Stretch wide like a river, then squeeze narrow like a stream. Once more, wide, and narrow!

Wide and narrow, we found them in rivers, paths, bridges, and even my own arms. What an exploring day! Can you think of something wide in your house?
